Two years ago, Dan built a water cannon aimed and controlled by Windows Phone 7 / WCF / MEF / Arduino / IIS Live Smooth Streaming. Last summer, Dan rebuilt the squirt gun using the netduino and the .net micro framework. This presentation will focus on the C# .net object oriented code in VS2010 for the squirt gun and other cool projects. Dan will focus on the software, but also present the .net microcontroller and the hardware to make it all work. He built a device that uses servos to aim a squirt gun anywhere in the pool area!! IIS Live Smooth Streaming video is used so that Dan can nail his kids with a high powered spray from the office or anywhere. Spraying the kids is as easy as touching the position on the screen where they are located. Come to the meeting to learn how to integrate custom hardware with your software. Dan will also show you how he turned his Android phone into a remote control device for his garage door opener.
