This is Columbia's very first code camp and we are excited to bring this awesome event to the developers working in our capitol. We are still in need of volunteers for the event so if you have been wondering whether there's anything you can do to contribute to the Columbia Enterprise Developers Guild, here's your chance! Hello all! It's been officially announced at the last two CEDG meetings that a volunteer planning committee has been formed involving CEDG and the Midlands chapter of SQL Pass to bring the Columbia developers community an official code camp! We are still looking for volunteers to serve on the planning committee and we will also need volunteers to help at the event itself.
The committee already has one meeting under its belt concerning topics such as the construction of a website, a good location, and what date the code camp should be held on. Right now the committee has tentatively agreed on a date some time in the Fall but if need be it will be pushed back into the spring. Locations such as Midlands Tech and the University of Phoenix building have been discussed but the panel is still wide open to suggestions.
If you feel you have something to offer to the formation of our code camp, please feel free to talk to one of our members at the next meeting or contact us at the email address provided below!
